The assembled version is fully constructed and varnished. It is ready to use and includes a 110mm f4,5 lens, trays, paper box, light tight sleeve and a tripod. The Instant Box Camera offers an affordable and easy to use solution for street photographers, schools and universities, as well as anyone who wants to experience the magic of mobile darkroom photography.
There are a detailed video instructions on how to use the camera and apply many different techniques on our website.
Please indicate if you want to have a light or dark stained version.
We can also customise the colour for an additional fee of 75 Euro. Please contact us after your purchase (the delivery time will change as we have to costume make it)
A note for those experienced with photography: The lens we include is not a high-end large format lens. It is an old soviet enlarger lens that we are able to get in larger quantities for a price that suits our project. The lens produces a slight blur on the bottom of the photograph if you take the 10x15cm paper size option. All images in our techniques section have been taken with this lens. It works wonderfully and we have used it for years.
Another note : ) our production is in a social center. It is a social project. Be aware that your camera might have a little glue stain or mini blemish somewhere. If the same product was made by professional carpenters it would cost you double. Needless to say the camera will be beautiful and fully functional, just be kind when expecting it. Thank you.
When you order we start assembling the camera. It would take maximum 3 weeks for it to be finished.
